Bona Law is an antitrust boutique focused on competition law in the U.S. and abroad. Wickley was tasked with redesigning the company’s old website to give it a modern facelift. The client was adamant about not using any cliché law-based imagery and wanted to go more for a tech-based look. We focused on keeping the design simple and airy to focus on the information, given the complexity of the subject matter.

My role in this project was to redesign the home and internal pages so that the information was easy to navigate for their clientele, as well as ensure that the design works on a variety of screen sizes. The challenge was trying to find imagery that will talk about the company’s practice areas without the use of legal imagery like gavels, scales, etc. We accomplished this specific need by incorporating technical imagery like geometric connecting figures that connect their practices and target their clientele.
