City of Live Oak

Website

Incorporated in 1960, the city founders of Live Oak considered the Interstate 35 and Loop 1604 interchange a perfect location amid gently rolling hills. The City of Live Oak’s website is used as an informational hub for city officials and citizens of the city. This is where they find news, city meetings, budget information, calendar events, and much more.

Wickley was tasked to redesign the website to make it easier for users to find the information they are seeking, as well as modernize the site. It was extremely important for the users to be able to have access to all of the content/information in a swift matter.

My role in this project was to redesign the home and internal pages. With the concerted effort of the web developer and myself, we developed the website with HTML5 and CSS3 using a custom contact management system and ensured that the design works on a variety of screen sizes and is easily editable. The Live Oak Parks and Demographic internal pages of this website were primarily designed and developed by me and are my favorites.
